Daisho-in is een historisch Japans tempelcomplex met vele tempels en standbeelden op de berg Misen, de heilige berg op het eiland Itsukushima, beter bekend als Miyajima. Het is de veertiende tempel in de Chūgoku 33 Kannon-bedevaart en beroemd om de esdoorns en hun herfstkleuren. Samen met Mount Misen is Daisho-in Werelderfgoed. In deze tempel is er een vlam waarvan gezegd wordt dat het brandt sinds de oprichting van het complex, meer dan 1200 jaar geleden.
Daishō-in is a historic Japanese temple complex with many temples and statues on Mount Misen, the holy mountain on the island of Itsukushima, better known as Miyajima. It is the 14th temple in the Chūgoku 33 Kannon Pilgrimage and famous for the maple trees and their autumn colors. Including Mt. Misen, Daishō-in is within the World Heritage Area of Itsukushima Shrine. In this temple there is a flame which is said to have been burning since its foundation, for more than 1200 years.
